The Geregere Well Project

On August 27th, The Youth Outreach Mission took the first step on the renovation of the well in Geregere. The well is in a very poor condition. Hundreds of people collect water from this well everyday. In its current state the well supplies a limited amount of water. The people of Geregere are suffering from this lack of sufficient drinking water.

The well will be constructed in two phases.
1) The well must be cleaned, and the water flow channeled.
2) Much of the existing cement work will need to be removed so that the new pipework can be installed.

The renovation of the well has been co funded by help international through Dillon Ryan Tibbitts and Lugazi town council.
