Domestic Violance

Many children have been denied their rights and instead they are subjected to torture through heavy work and at the end of the day they get less or no food at all.
They are denied rights to education, food and proper shelter.
In a survey conducted, we realized that most of the tortured children don't get time to play with their colleagues at home since most of their time is spent on doing domestic work at home.
The Youth Outreach mission has put in place a program/ a work plan that is going to address domestic violence starting with individual house holds, especially the families, of the violence victims.
We are going to hold seminars sensitizing people on domestic violence as well as publish booklets, papers and magazines showing the evils of domestic violence in homes. These booklets will also educate the people on children's rights.
Don't be left out in this campaign of helping the children in Uganda know their rights through exposing the evils of domestic violence.

Helping the elderly

The Youth Outreach Mission has realized the fact that the elderly people are a group that is vulnerable and in need of special attention.
Therefore, as a young group of people willing to serve the community and bring about a positive change in the lives of individuals in the community,
we have launched a campaign geared towards providing basic necessities to the elderly and as well, cleaning around their homesteads to ensure that they live in a safe and a clean environment.
In the above pictures, you can see the members of the Youth Outreach Mission donating to Maria Nakibuule and as well constructing a drying rack at her home in Kitigoma a village next to Jinja town.

Development of talents

Development of talent is one of our major goals. We believe that once we put up sports activities like soccer, we can help the youth develop their talents and socialize together. This first picture is of a football tournament that we organized to meet this objective.

We can not only develop the youth talents through sports outreaches but also through music, dance and drama especially in schools. We are glad to promote and develop the talents of Lugazi's youth.

Music Dance and Drama

The youth outreach mission uses music, dance and drama to reach out the young people and the public through sensitization on HIV/AIDS. This is the best way we think the public can be aware of this deadly virus . We have therefore taken the initiative of launching this campaign in schools. This is our starting ground for fighting HIV/AIDS among the young generations at the grassroots.
