The Youth Extravaganza 2010


Theme: HIV AIDS AND TEENAGE PREGNANCIES
Objectives:
1. To sensitize the students and the public about HIV/AIDS
2. To decampaign teenage pregnancies amongst the school going students
3. To equip the youths with various skills on how they can fight and wipe out the deadly HIV/AIDS virus and teenage pregnancies
4. To promote the talents of the youth in Music, dance and drama

Activities that the students participated in
Music
Dance
Drama
Poems all centering on HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancies
Free HIV/AIDS testing and counseling was also provided

ACHIEVEMENTS
• Students were equipped with various skills on, how to fight HIV/AIDS and Teenage pregnancies
• The festival provided a platform for all the students to show case their talents in music dance and drama.
• Over 200 people were able to access free HIIV/AIDS testing and counseling and were able to know their HIV status.
• Students who participated in the annual writing contest that was initiated by Suzan Stack, Ashley and ally Adams in partnership with the Youth outreach mission were also rewarded on this same day
• The festival created awareness on HIV/AIDS and Teenage pregnancies

The Soccer Academy


We wish to send our sincere thanks to every body who donated towards the soccer Academy
The money has been used purchase:
  • 12 pairs of soccer boots
  • 12 shirts
  • Registration of the soccer academy
  • Refreshments during soccer games
  • 4 soccer balls

Joy filled the soccer camp when the donations arrived. The children could not hide their joy as each one of them hurriedly tried out the uniforms. We convey our grateful thanks to every body who donated their money to make sure the soccer academy is a great success.

Thanks to Andrew Lovell, the Help Volunteers 2010, and especially those who devoted their time to serve the soccer academy Alexi Pannek, Tim Enrico, Tim coons, Ellen Spangberg and everybody that we have not been able to mention.

You will always be remembered and always be missed.
